Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA -- October 9, 2003 - Home & Park Motorhomes, as an officially designed Best Practices Tour Site, hosted a group of delegates attending the 2003 Association for Manufacturing Excellence Conference held in Toronto from October 6-10, 2003.
The Company provided delegates with an overview of how it manufactures Roadtrek camper vans with particular emphasis on their journey towards the achievement of automotive quality. The visit included a factory tour as well as an interaction between the Home & Park Management Team and the delegates. At the conclusion of the tour, Home & Park was presented with a plaque which states, “In recognition of their commitment to the attainment of excellence in manufacturing and productivity”.
President & CEO, Pete Mateja, stated that “Home & Park Motorhomes has worked hard in creating a Lean manufacturing environment. We have come a long way and will continue on this path to provide the very best camper vans possible for our customers. We are proud to be recognized as a Best Practices Tour Site. It is gratifying that the efforts of our company and its valued employees are honored in being part of this world class conference”.
