Roadtrek®TM Owners Quotes
We have had cazy fun in our Roadtrek this year. More fun than I could have ever imagined! We quickly became accustomed to the size. It even feels somewhat spacious!! I LOVE my kitchen, we fix all our meals in it. Plenty of space.
Gregory & Deanne Hayes, Lake Ozark, Missouri
I have owned two Roadtreks in the last 15+ years and I am currently looking for my 3rd...
In the last 15 years I have been to Alaska twice (solo hiked the Chilkoot Trail, AK, then solo kayaked 600 mi. down the Yukon to Dawson, NWT), around the US 2-3 times , enumerable trips northern and southern USA & Canada and 2 1/2 months traveling around Mexico, Guatemala and Belize, all with kayak and mountain bike. I also drove the Roadtrek across Wyoming's Oregon Trail including open range and across creek washes where I had to build my own mini-bridge of stones. Since 2000 when I retired at 60 I have lived the winters in SE USA for 4-5 months in my Roadtrek.
Roadtreking is a magnificent lifestyle.
Scott Eaton, Jackson, Wyoming
For several years I have been trying to get my husband, Mitch to consider getting something more versatile than our big Class A. I started looking in earnest at the Class Bs. After much research and many visits to our area RV dealers, we settled on a Roadtrek.. . We call our Roadtrek "The Lean , Clean Traveling Machine". When football season rolls around we will remove our slipcovers and back cushions and have the perfect tailgating vehicle. It even fits into the same assigned parking spot we've had for years. We just got back from a three week trip through Georgia and Florida. Everyone was comfortable and there was never a question of can we go here or stop there.
Our Roadtrek went anywhere we would take an automobile but with the convenience of a RV. We even take our Roadtrek shopping. The pups enjoy the outing and Mitch kicks back and takes a nap or watches TV while I shop.
I would never drive our big Class A but I can drive our Roadtrek anywhere. If you ever needs a spokes person I'm your girl. I Love My Roadtrek.
Anne & Carlie Mitchell, Wagener, South Carolina
We love the power and good ride of our Roadtrek. It is worth giving up space to have such comfort on the highway. My wife loves the fact that she feels comfortable driving it. She often hits the road with a friend for a short tirp. Our grandchildren love to sleep and eat in it in the back yard when we visit, it's like a playhouse to them.
Robert Oglesby, Richardson, Texas
My wife is very handicapped and the RV is just the right size for us. It is the only way we can travel anymore. It is a great machine and I love to drive it and live aboard.
Ralph Degroodt, Galena, Maryland
We bought your 210 Popular (after all the raving reveiws, the video was the kicker) and after test-driving a model on our local dealer's lot we went home totally conviced and determined to buy a used one - guess what? No one seems to want to let go of them after they buy them - we had already fallen in love with the dealer's show model and within 24 hours had made the best purchase of our lives.... I cannot tell you how our life has changed since almost 2 months ago. We are [Hurricane] Katrina survivors (with pets). Above all else you have given us peace of mind --- not to mention the complete luxury your product offers. We are having a ball... After staying in the yard for two weeks (we are totaly camping virgins), we were brave enough to venture forth - WE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.
Thank you Roadtrek for a wonderful product and please tell [Chairman] Jeff and his father THANK YOU.
We love this RV! We went from a 36 foot to this size because we can go any where. We use it for day trips with friends, have used it as a "guest room" when we visit friends who live nearby, and love the compact convenience. This is our out and about RV, not our park it and sit RV. Thanks
Martin Hadfield, Auburn, Washington
Sincerely, enjoy our Roadtrek. It took some convincing to encourage my wife to purchase a Roadtrek now, she wouldn't be without one. She can't wait for our next trip.
Frank & Ramona Joyce O'Neil, Junction City, Texas
I just bought my first RV, and you bet, it's a RoadTrek. I just love it, I just love my "new" little camper, and am so proud of it. Thank you for making it possible for single women to enjoy the outdoors and camping life without the fear of driving a big rig. You do a wonderful job!!!
I have a feeling that I'm not the only woman out there who enjoys camping, but hasn't a partner to go with, and a Roadtrek is the way to Gooooooooooooo....................... Thanks
My Roadtrek is my extra bedroom, my Lake Home, my office, my Sanctuary - I Love It!
Lois Anderson, Mankato, Minnesota
Since October 1999, when we became the proud and happy owners of our Roadtrek we have shown our vehicle to curious people countless times.
People are usually amazed at the amount of storage we have, and that our marriage has not dissolved even though we live in our Roadtrek at least 4 to 5 months of each year. One of the reasons our marriage of more than 47 years has lasted this long is because our RV has given us the opportunity to travel and enjoy many thousands of miles together.
We can truthfully say the Roadtrek sells itself. Again, we are happy to be ambassadors for your fine motorhome.
Thank you very much.
Ed & Mary Michalski, Plymouth, Wisconsin
We totally love our Roadtrek. We use it often - I drive it daily to work. We go to Roadtrek International rallies. They are great fun and the folks in the club are super. Overall a top-notch product. We will buy another one down the road!
Patrick Shubird, Daphne, Alabama
We are amazed at the Roadtrek's design and capabilities. For people in our age group, it makes travel comfortable, spontaneous and effortless. It gives us the freedom we haven't enjoyed since we were younger.
Alex Shirshun, Oakland, Michigan
This Roadtrek is the most wonderful vehicle I've ever owned. It's quite liberating to know my dogs and I can go anywhere and never have to worry about having a place to stay.
Marijo Carlson, Austin, Texas
We are very satisfied with our 210 and are really enjoying it. We like to drive over to Monterey Bay for lunch and park along the shore line enjoying a different view each time. Even the best restaurant only has one view. Thanks for making a great RV.
Brent Sweeney, Salinas, California
Puchasing the Roadtrek and using it has been "a dream come true"! This summer we have camped with all of our children and grand-children and we have had adventures that we had only dreamed of. We Love being "Trekkers"!
Michael & Judy Gillen, Grand Rapids, Michigan
Thank you and your staff for inviting us to participate in [Roadtrek]'s 30th Anniversary celebration? it was such an honor and a privilege to have been included in such a historic and prestigious event.. even the heat could not dampen the spirits, the enthusiasm, and the gaiety of the event. It was first class all the way, beginning with the invitation, to the catered meals, to the entertainment! We especially enjoyed the General Jackson Showboat luncheon (the entertainment was fantastic) and the cruise on the Cumberland River was delightful. The Grand Ole Opry was a first-time for us; it was very interesting and most impressive. Again thank you and best wishes to all of you for your continued success on a terrific motorhome.
Gini & Jack Huggins, Silver Lake, Ohio
We purchased our first ever motor home this year.
I call it my "Freedom" ride as it has given me back my freedom to travel once again due to a medical condition that had kept me housebound for about eight years.
We love the Roadtrek. It's top of the line quality every where you look inside & outside. Drives like a dream, so easy to get around in, just great!
And the Roadtrek dealership [owner] treated us like royalty from day one clear through the sales process & delivery of our new RV. And their service after the sell is just as great! [Salesperson] and rest of the staff really do live by their motto, "A Company That Cares" and it shows.
And thank you to Roadtrek Company for making such a wonderful top of the line motor home.
Vicky & Gary King, Kirsville, Missouri
We have enjoyed owning a Roadtrek (our 2nd one) since 1997... We have gone to many of the club rallies and have hosted two... We feel you have a first class organization as you continue to work closely with the owners - always ready to answer questions and provide service. We feel you and your associates bend over backwards to provide us with satisfaction.
Dick and Marge Dillon, Parma Heights, Ohio
I want to tell you that our Roadtrek has been our second home. It has been part of our way of life and has provided us with a continuing source of pleasure. We have had many trips all over North America and it has proven to be most reliable in every respect. I want to extend my compliments to [Roadtrek] Motorhomes for developing and retaining the enviable position you have achieved in the field of recreational vehicles. I wish you continued success in the years to come.
Doug Richardson, Bradford, Ontario
I show dogs and it is perfect for me. The Roadtrek is not too big to drive to local shows. I stay in it on the weekend shows. I LOVE IT!
Ms. Kimberly Anderson, Farmington Heights, Michigan
I'm just like a kid about my Roadtrek too - and I'm far from being one. I never thought I'd be this excited about a vehicle - no, make that a lifestyle change :-)
Carrie L, Alpharetta, Georgia
The 190-Versatile is not only making an excellent 2nd car, but a new way, on a moments notice, to visit friends and decide and stay overnight in our Roadtrek. We are having fun!!
The Bailey's, California
We fell in love with your coach at an RV show. A thorough inspection revealed yours was the most beautifully crafted one. All who admire ours give rave reviews. You have given us the retirement of our dreams.
David & Joan Lotterer, Bellevue
You do not have to sell us on Roadtrek. For after many different varieties of trailers, tents, and vans, we thought we had it! Then we saw our first Roadtrek. I don't really know that we could ever consider parting with this Roadtrek, it is truly a home away from home.
George & Jerleen Skirven, Laurel Hill
As we sat under the awning sipping wine and listening to music as the shrimp boiled, I saw a big class A hauling a Jeep trying to squeeze into the parking area, they gave up. They were too big to make the turn. The Roadtrek is the perfect blend of comfort, usefulness and stress-free travel.
Being a lone traveling woman of 80 years of age, I wanted you to know what real pleasure this van has given me. I am the owner and sole driver of this vehicle and I now have over 88,000 miles on it. It is still my greatest pleasure and I plan many more miles to come.
Lorraine L Caffey, Page, Arizona
I suffered a stroke at the age of 55 and was devastated that my traveling days were over. Little did we know that a vehicle such as the Roadtrek would be available to us. It changed our life. We bought the 170 and just love it. It fits our needs to a tee. Just right for the two of us and our cat. We go... every summer for about 2 months and... for one month every winter. It is wonderful being alive and part of the camper's world.
Mr & Mrs Coffeys, Annapolis, Maryland
Roadtrek is a fantastic rig. My previous two rigs had roof leaks, body rattles and squeaks and were difficult to winterize and service. Roadtrek sits in the yard and is ready to go in 15 minutes. It is the most convenient rig I have ever owned.
Jack & Wink Hoyt, Galena, Ohio
Love our Roadtrek, my wife and I are first time campers. We simply love it... Thank you Roadtrek. I didn't think my wife would like camping. Now I think we created a camping monster. She wants to go all the time. Again THANK YOU.
Bob & Marge, Cincinnati, Ohio
I was not an RV person until we saw the Roadtrek. Our whole lives have changed for the better! Whoever thought of putting that much in a 19 feet van must be a genius. If I were a young man I would apply for a position to sell this vehicle of "Happiness on Wheels"... I have to close of my letter now, as we are getting ready for another trip. We have our Willie Nelson tape already to play "On The Road Again". Thank you!
Bob & Winn Stahlmann, Leesburg, Florida
We are very pleased with our Roadtrek. We needed a "home away from home" when we visited our children. Now we don't have to put our grandchildren out of their bedrooms. And most of all, our Roadtrek is so compact and we don't have to pull another car. Thanks Roadtrek!!
T & M Ferrel, Beavercreek, Ohio
Stress Buster: We have owned our Roadtrek for almost 2 years. I'm President of two companies and always on the run. It's the long weekends that count and our Roadtrek is perfect. Two weeks ago, my wife was in Ontario, Canada to be with our oldest son; I was alone with the dog - got home Friday evening - I looked at the dog - the dog looked at me - I said "we're out of here". Three hours later, out of Los Angeles, we are in Pismo Beach. Arrived late, slept well, got up early, showered (my wife and I just love this feature) then off for a long walk on the beach with Shira (our cocker spaniel). Just hung out - met my kids for lunch - both are college students at Cal Poly. Saturday night watched video from captain's chair - another late walk, got to bed after looking at the stars. Sunday, took leisurely drive home. Best purchase of an RV I have ever made. I've never had so many compliments - "how did they get so much into such a small space" - love to show off the shower and bathroom area. Came back charged up and ready to be a boss. Roadtrek is always ready for the next trip... gassed up, holding tanks empty & water tank full!
Edmond Buccellato, Los Angeles, California
Our first experience in a Roadtrek will be total immersion. With no prompting, let me exclaim here and now the vehicle is superb and all of the conveniences were easy to operate and did so wonderfully. If one can read and comprehend what is read, the operation of all appliances in the Roadtrek is easy...
Now, you should know I don't sleep well. You know, guilty conscience and all that. Here we are in a National Park and I am doing the horizontal Macrena. It's 4:30 am. At 5:00 am I decide I have caused "her what I married" enough sleep deprivation. I am going for my shower. Being 5:00 am I am going to risk a risqu? trip. I am just about clear of our site trees, when I hear scuffing along the main dirt road. Great; just great. Here I am at 5:00 am, my panty hose is twisted, my hair styled by eggbeater and I ain't got my face on. Now I am going to meet someone. It's 5 am give me a break!! I turn round a tree and --WHAM!! face to snout with a moose. I am mechanically illiterate but I ain't no coward. True, I simply don't scare easily. The moose sure wasn't scared of me. So we stood. Nose to muzzle. Silent communication was the agenda. Eventually, I allowed as to how I needed my shower, and he allowed as to a lot of munching he has to attend to. When I looked back, he was chewing the evergreens near our site marker. Later when sleeping beauty was on her feet, I showed her the scuff marks in the gravel. I was most impressed with the beautiful coat on the animal. Locals informed us that from description he was probably over 1200 lbs. (544.32 Kg) and as dangerous as a bear. When I meet my bear I'll see if it's as dangerous as a moose...
Oh the stories, the stories we could tell you. The wonderful people we met. The wildlife. The scenery. How smooth the Roadtrek operated...
Vern & Tove Clahane, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Owning a Roadtrek is a lifestyle. It is the freedom to "ride away" to a Rally or into the Canadian or American wilderness. It's about people and making friends. It's about nature, our cities and our beautiful landscapes. It's about the sculptured desert of Arizona, the fishing villages of Maine and Prince Edward Island, the rolling hills of Kentucky, the vast Canadian prairies, the Cape Breton highlands of Nova Scotia and the majestic Canadian Rockies. That's what our Roadtrek means to us.
